Trailer Mechanic - $15-$16/hour
Location: Danville, IL
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1st shift.

We're looking for a skilled Trailer Mechanic to inspect, maintain, and repair trailers to keep them running safely and efficiently. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and ensuring equipment is in top condition.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Inspect trailers and perform safety checks
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues
• Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime
• Conduct equipment safety inspections
• Follow all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations

What You Bring to the Table:

• Knowledge of DOT requirements for trailers and AVI
• Ability to stand, kneel, bend, climb stairs or ladders, and perform physical tasks
• Physical stamina, agility, and overall good health
• Ability to work independently while meeting high-performance standards
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
