Travel Cath Lab Technologist

This is a travel healthcare contract assignment with a high likelihood of extension.

• Location: Salem, Massachusetts
• Modality: Cardiac Cath Lab & EP
• Equipment: Toshiba
• Schedule: 4x10s 7am-5:30pm
  • 7 call shifts per 4 weeks
    • 40-hour work week
• Charting System: EPIC
• Weekly Gross: $2,750 (eligible for benefits)

Requirements:

• Active ARRT(R) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• MA State License
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience
• Skill Sets Required:
  • Interventional: Cardiac, PCI, Scrub and EPIC experience required
  • Cath/EP Lab: EP Responsibilities include scrub for device implants, lead revision and ablations.

About Your Role:
As a Travel Cath Lab Technologist, you'll be an integral part of a specialized cardiovascular team, assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Your expertise will directly support life-saving treatments and interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians in procedures including cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, stent placements, electrophysiology studies, and other interventional cardiovascular treatments.
• Operate advanced fluoroscopy and imaging equipment accurately.
• Prepare and administer contrast media while continuously monitoring patient responses.
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere strictly to radiation safety protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and healthcare team members to maximize patient care outcomes.
