About the Role:
As a Travel Radiation Therapist, you will play a vital role in oncology treatment, delivering precise radiation therapy to patients undergoing cancer treatment. Working alongside experienced oncologists and medical teams, you'll ensure safe, accurate, and compassionate care in a variety of clinical settings.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by radiation oncologists.
  • Operate and calibrate linear accelerators and other radiation therapy equipment.
  • Accurately position patients and ensure proper immobilization for effective treatment delivery.
  • Monitor patients during procedures, assessing for any adverse reactions or complications.
  • Maintain detailed treatment records and ensure compliance with safety and radiation protection protocols.

What We're Looking For:
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Radiation Therapist.
  • Certifications:
    • ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (T).
    • CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
    • Rhode Island State Radiation License
  • Skills: Strong technical proficiency with radiation therapy equipment, patient-focused care, and attention to detail.
