Key Responsibilities:
- Perform technical troubleshooting on injection molding machines, components, and auxiliary equipment
- Operate and monitor injection molding machines during production
- Assist with process development and optimization for plastic injection molding
- Minimize production scrap rates and machine downtime through efficient troubleshooting and maintenance
- Perform routine maintenance and adjustments on molding equipment
- Assist in identifying process improvements to increase productivity
- Train and support other team members when needed
Qualifications:
- 2-5+ years of experience in plastic injection molding process development
- Knowledge of scientific molding principles
- Basic understanding of injection molding tool design
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to train and support team members
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Degree in Plastics or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience preferred
