Veteran Case Manager
Express Employment is hiring for a Veteran Case Manager for one of our clients. This role supports homeless and at-risk veterans by helping connect them with housing, community resources, and support services to promote long-term stability and self-sufficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with veterans and assess housing and support needs
- Connect clients with community resources and benefits
- Assist with applications, paperwork, and eligibility requirements
- Help clients create short-term and long-term goals
- Support individuals in finding and maintaining stable housing
- Conduct follow-ups and provide ongoing case management support
- Maintain accurate records and data entry
- Build positive relationships with landlords and community partners
- Drive to client visits and community meetings as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience in social services, case management, or working with vulnerable populations preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with individuals in crisis in a compassionate and professional manner
- Comfortable with computers and documentation
- Valid Oregon driver's license required
- Must pass a criminal background check
