Express Employment Professionals of Everett is hiring a Warehouse Associate / Shipping & Receiving Clerk for a busy production and distribution company located in Everett, WA. Starting pay is $20.77 per hour. This is a full-time, temporary-to-permanent position on day shift, working Monday-Thursday 6:00am-3:30pm and Fridays 6:00am-10:00am.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, working with inventory, and supporting a fast‑paced warehouse team.
Duties include but are not limited to:
• Move freight, stock, and materials using a forklift, pallet jack, hand truck, or by hand
• Sort cargo before loading and unloading
• Assemble product containers, crates, skids, pallets, and boxes using hand tools
• Pack containers and re-pack damaged containers
• Create, process, review, and follow up on purchase orders within 48 hours, including updating pricing and delivery dates
• Tag or label containers with identifying information
• Examine shipments and compare contents against manifests, invoices, or orders
• Record shipment data such as weight, charges, availability, damages, or discrepancies
• Prepare documents including work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders
• Work with representatives to resolve issues such as damages or shortages
• Communicate weekly with suppliers to build strong relationships
• Pack, seal, label, and prepare outbound shipments (UPS, FedEx, DHL)
• Identify inventory shortages and stock levels to support 95% fill‑rate goals
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager
