Welder (1st Shift)

Located in Danville, IL

Salary: $19.00

Express is currently working with a company that is located in Danville and is an expert in refurbishing railroad castings. We are currently seeking MIG welders to add to their team. Please see job details below:

Job duties:

-Grinding to the recommended AAR gauge recommendations.
-Welding couplers to AAR gauge recommendations.
-After coupler is completed the employee must gauge to make sure that it meets the proper specifications.
-Housekeeping and any other duty specified by manager.

Essential Qualifications:

-Unblemished work and attendance record
-The strength and flexibility to lift and move 50 pounds manually
-The ability and willingness to follow directions

-Must be alert at all times
-The ability to work together with other employees as a team

Mig Welding

• Air Arc Experience is a plus but not required
• Ability to operate heavy grinders and lift over 30 lbs
• Mig experience
• Be able to pass a breathing and well test
