Position Overview
We are seeking dependable and skilled Welders to join our growing teams in both Champaign and Rantoul, IL. The ideal candidates will have hands-on welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication setting and be able to produce high-quality welds with consistency and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and/or TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, or aluminum components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings.
- Set up, adjust, and maintain welding equipment as needed for each job.
- Inspect finished welds for accuracy, strength, and quality compliance.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area following all company and OSHA safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of welding experience preferred; certification a plus but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Reliable attendance and commitment to safety.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
