Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG and/or TIG welding
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions
- Fit, tack, and weld parts to meet production or custom specifications
- Inspect welds for quality, strength, and appearance
- Perform touch-ups or adjustments as needed
- Use grinders, measuring tools, and other fabrication equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Current Openings Include:
- 1st Shift TIG Welding: Custom fabrication, blueprint-driven work, high-quality cosmetic welds
- 2nd Shift MIG Robotic Welding Support: Quality inspection, weld verification, troubleshooting automated weld processes
- 1st Shift MIG/TIG Production Welding: Repetitive welds in a manufacturing environment with consistent output expectations
Qualifications:
- Experience with MIG and/or TIG welding in a manufacturing or fabrication setting
- Ability to pass a weld test
- Basic blueprint reading skills
- Ability to use measuring tools and follow specifications
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with both MIG and TIG welding
- Prior work in custom fabrication or high-volume production environments
- Experience with robotic welding systems or weld inspection
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
- Manufacturing or fabrication shop environment with moderate to high noise levels
- Standing, walking, and repetitive motion throughout shift
- Frequent lifting, bending, and use of hand and power tools
- Exposure to heat, welding fumes, and moving equipment
- PPE required at all times
