Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Lumber Assembly - Build and prepare lumber packages to fulfill customer orders.
- Inventory Management - Maintain and organize materials in the yard and warehouse.
- Customer Assistance - Help customers load building materials in all weather conditions.
- Freight Handling - Unload freight from vendors and distributors.
- Equipment Logging - Track and report equipment repairs and maintenance.
- Safety Compliance - Follow all safety procedures and yard protocols.
- Prefab Support - Assist with wall panels, floor trusses, and wall trusses (preferred but not required).
- General Yard Support - Assist team members with additional operational tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and follow order instructions accurately
- Strong math skills for measurements and assembly
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 80 lbs
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- HS Diploma or GED preferred
- Must pass a 5‑panel drug test
- Experience with forklifts, trucks, or delivery equipment is helpful
- Local travel up to 100 miles may be required
