Job Title: CNC Machinist- 3rd Shift

Location: Troy, Ohio
Schedule: M-F, 8pm-6am

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or multi-axis) to produce aerospace parts according to detailed specifications.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions accurately.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to maintain precision, quality, and efficiency.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with company and industry safety standards.
• Troubleshoot machining problems and collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to resolve issues.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and report any equipment issues.
• Accurately document production data and maintain required records.
• Follow all company policies, safety regulations, and quality control procedures.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with HAAS, Mazak, or similar CNC controls required.
• Formal CNC or machining certification or technical training preferred.
• Strong knowledge of machining principles and inspection techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
• Previous experience as a CNC Machinist or CNC Operator (preferably in the aerospace industry).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Familiarity with CNC programming and G-code is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Knowledge of machine shop safety standards and procedures.
