A renewable energy company in North Fort Worth is seeking a Shop Technician to join their dynamic 1st shift team!
Shop Technician: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM
Shop Technician Pay: $18-$22/hr (based on experience)
Shop Technician Responsibilities:
- Disassemble, clean, and repair wind turbine gear drives
- Inspect and record abnormal wear or damage on components
- Reassemble gear drives following repair procedures and quality standards
- Follow all safety, environmental, and quality guidelines (PPE, MSDS, ISO, EHS)
- Read and understand drawings, measurements, and repair documentation
- Work closely with supervisors and lead technicians to meet production schedules
Shop Technician Requirements:
- 2+ years of mechanical or industrial repair experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and use measuring tools
- Understanding of basic tolerances (Imperial and Metric)
- Must follow safety procedures and work effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and support additional industrial repair projects over time
