Job Summary

The ideal candidate has experience working with stainless steel, aluminum, and other thin-gauge materials and can read blueprints and fabrication drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings
- Prepare materials for welding including cleaning, grinding, and fitting components
- Inspect welds to ensure strength, quality, and compliance with specifications
- Set up and operate welding equipment, including TIG welders and related tools
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety protocols
- Work closely with fabrication and production teams to complete projects on time
- Perform minor finishing work such as grinding, polishing, or deburring as needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years of TIG welding experience preferred
- Experience welding stainless steel and/or aluminum
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to use hand tools, grinders, and measuring tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
- Welding certification (AWS or similar)
- Experience in fabrication or custom metal work
- Familiarity with other welding processes such as MIG welding
